Million Air Dallas receives FAA Acceptance of its Safety Management System

Addison, TX, October 12, 2021 – On September 20, 2021, Million Air Dallas, an early pioneer of luxury private jet travel and to date one of the largest Part 135 aircraft management companies and charter operators in Texas, received formal acceptance from the Federal Aviation Administration of Million Air Dallas’ Safety Management System (SMS). This achievement places Million Air Dallas among the estimated 1% of all U.S. Part 135 operators to have received FAA acceptance and recognition of full compliance, better known as “Active Conformance”, with the FAA’s Safety Management System Voluntary Program Standard (SMSVP). The FAA SMS Voluntary Program follows the same phased implementation, validation process, and rigid standard that’s required of the Part 121 commercial airline operators.

This may be the end of demonstrating and testing our Safety Management System, but it is just the beginning of an evolution to the next level of safety for Million Air Dallas and the private jet transportation industry” stated Bob Schmidt, President and CEO of Million Air Dallas.
