Million Air Dallas & Patriot PAWS: Honoring Veterans, One Dog at a Time

At Million Air Dallas, our mission goes far beyond aviation. As a company rooted in excellence, service, and integrity, we proudly extend our reach to causes that reflect those values. One of the partnerships closest to our hearts is with Patriot PAWS Service Dogs, a nonprofit that provides highly trained service dogs to disabled U.S. veterans free of charge.

This April, we were honored to sponsor and participate in the 2nd Annual Patriot PAWS Benefit Sporting Clays Shoot to help raise funds for a cause that is as patriotic as it is personal​.

Aiming for Impact: Supporting a Life-Changing Mission

The Patriot PAWS Sporting Clay Shoot brought together supporters, veterans, and corporate sponsors to raise awareness and financial support for the organization’s incredible mission. With over 70 veterans currently waiting for their service dog, every sponsorship and donation has the power to change lives​.

While the event offered a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and purpose—it was the presence of the dogs that truly stole the show. From puppies in training to certified service dogs, the stars of the day walked on four legs and wore vests instead of medals.

Why We Stand Behind Patriot PAWS

Since 2006, Patriot PAWS has placed more than 360 service dogs with veterans nationwide.. Led by Founder and Executive Director Lori Stevens, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer with over 30 years of experience, the organization is accredited by Assistance Dogs International (ADI)—a testament to the caliber of training and ethical standards upheld by the program.

At Million Air Dallas, we’ve proudly supported Patriot PAWS through annual donations, event sponsorships, and volunteer engagement. Last year, we  hosted a special “Dog Days” event at our maintenance hangar—complete with hot dogs and tail wags—to bring awareness and joy to our team and the Patriot PAWS community.
