Gulfstream G650 Flies High at Million Air Dallas

ADDISON, Texas – Million Air Dallas took delivery of a brand-new, state-of-the-art Gulfstream G650 on Monday May 20th. The aircraft has been placed on Million Air Dallas Part 135 Certificate and becomes the first to offer the G650 as a charter aircraft. This is a proud moment for all of us here at Million Air Dallas, who is celebrating their 29th year of business at this world-class operation at the Addison Airport.

This new aircraft, which can reach China non-stop from Dallas and which has a maximum cruise speed just under the speed of sound, opens up the world to clients who are seeking a global reach. “As the first G650 in the United States to be available for charter, we believe the range and speed of this beautiful plane will offer a business edge to clients whose time is valuable and will satisfy those who seek the best in everything they do” said Bob Schmidt, Director of Operations at Million Air Dallas, in announcing the arrival of the new plane this week.

“Passengers will enjoy maximum comfort due the fact that we have configured the aircraft with seating for up to thirteen passengers, despite the fact that it has the capacity to carry up to eighteen in tighter layouts. We have also made provision for a private crew-rest area on board so that we can take advantage of the extreme endurance of the aircraft by carrying an extra crew member to swap out the flying duties” said Schmidt.

In preparation for the delivery of the new aircraft, Million Air Dallas has constructed a brand new private facility at Addison Airport for the exclusive use of Million Air clients. The terminal opened last December. This private lounge offers a discreet departure and arrival area separate from the main Million Air FBO next door. Alongside the new terminal is a new 40,000 square-feet hangar which will house the new G650 as well as other jets from the growing Million Air fleet.
